“ Food was fabulous! Great chicken and waffles. Chicken breading was light and waffles were crispy. Dining in requires eating in the attached bar. Service was pretty good, very friendly. Loved, loved, loved the collared greens and cabbage, and don't forget the sweet cakes!!!! ”
“ Ordered takeout and the food traveled really well and was delicious! Will definitely be ordering from here again. ”
“ Delicious. I got the wings and the shrimp and chicken gumbo, and basically inhaled it as quickly as the portion sizes allowed. The wings were crunchy and the jerk sauce was interestingly cinnamon-y, the shrimp were huge and juicy, and the gumbo was just the right level of spice and salt and umami. Definitely coming back for more. I did pickup, but service was lovely and it looks like a nice little patio space to hang out on with a snack. ”
“ This place is just fantastic! We have eaten here three times and the food is terrific, the burgers are always perfect and the fries are the best I've had in a very long time. The greens are what sent me over the edge, absolutely delicious, I could eat them every day. I have not tried carryout yet although we plan to, we actually ended up here after a concert. We had reservations at a fancy place before the show and were severely disappointed and afterwards we were starving so we stopped in and were so happy we did. We plan to try everything on the menu, it is that good! ”
“ Have a hankering for Southern food then you definitely need to try this place out!! We ordered via DoorDash and it was perfect. Chicken and shrimp gumbo was heavenly. Everything was so flavorful and filling. They absolutely slayed the greens!! ”
“ I was in the mood for wings and had noticed this place on Google a few months ago but never had the chance to try it. I ordered online for pickup but they ended up pushing the pickup time. Only one guy in the kitchen when I arrived. I waited a bit since I hadn't seen the email earlier that my food would be ready 30 min late. Once I got my food, a guy who was likely the owner asked how I had heard of them. I'm guessing they want to do more promo. They don't seem as well known yet but they should be! I had ordered the 6 wings with jerk sauce and a side of collard greens. Delicious! I was licking my fingers. The seasoning was so good! The wings aren't jumbo, it's doable to eat all 6. I would definitely order it again! The greens were too salty. Not sure if it was just an off day. The location is right next to another restaurant. But when you walk inside Ridiculous Eatz, it's just a pickup register. Most of the space is taken up by the kitchen. ”
“ Why did I wait so long to get carry out from here? I live close by, but my wife isn't a big fan of Cajun food. So I waited until she was out and I ordered some carry out for me. This place did not disappoint. I got six wings with buffalo sauce and greens, and shrimp gumbo. I couldn't eat it all at one sitting, but everything was incredible. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The gumbo tasted like New Orleans. The greens were awesome. Loved it! ”
“ Needed some mac and cheese, and this looked like a BBQ place (ribs in some pix) so we stopped in. It's more Cajun/bar food; I don't think ribs are on the menu currently. There's a separate entrance for carryout, and dine-in is at the bar next door. We sat in there and got good service from the bartender, though she was pretty busy. The menu has burgers, pizza, wings, gumbo, seafood, etc. Baby K got mac and cheese, which was good but "not her style" (bowtie pasta, fancy cheese, a little black pepper.) Also fried corn on the cob, which we both loved. It says Cajun spice, but it was minimal and not too hot for her. I got the chicken gumbo, which was very good. Perfect rice, chicken and sausage, onions and peppers, and moderate heat. We got red beans and rice to go for Sweetie, and she said it was very good but a bit spicy for her. You're eating in a bar, so it's dark, and loud, with football games on, etc. Still, comfy, and not quite kid-unfriendly, anyway. The menu has lots of options. Prices are reasonable for the quality. I'd come back. ”
“ What a great find in an unassuming shopping centered tucked in behind a dive bar! A friend is now bartending at Kelley's so we visited her and she pulled out menus for us to order some dinner. Lots of creole-inspired meals and bar eats. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was delicious. A huge portion--I couldn't finish all of it. I'll definitely be back to try the Jambalaya! ”
